Biography
Dr. Kate grew up in a small town 50 miles west of Chicago, IL. Growing up in the mid-west surrounded by woods, rivers, beautiful old architecture, and cornfields, she developed a passion for exploring the outdoors. Her curiosity took her to Colorado, where she completed an undergraduate bachelor's degree in Finance. For years, she successfully climbed the corporate ladder. Eventually, she noticed a natural calling to change her career and work in healthcare. Having a surgeon, nurse, and internal medicine doctor in her lineage, she decided to travel down a slightly different path. After trying numerous routes to treat her own elbow pain, she tried acupuncture and was hooked.
In 2014, Dr. Kate moved to Oregon to complete her master's and doctorate education program. As a healthcare practitioner, she brings her authentic style and greets everyone with a smile. With a deep passion for providing on-time service to others, she actively helps patients reconnect with their inner strength to heal. Licensed in OR, IL, and CO, she’s worked in various community and private clinics focused on pain management, addiction & behavioral health, hard-to-treat cases, and adjunctive cancer therapy. She’s focused on helping humanity and has volunteered for acupuncture services in Nepal. Integrating her 15+ years of business experience with her passion for medicine, she brings value-added services to everyone she meets.
She is married to her best friend and cheerleader Ryan. They own a home in Bend with their fun-loving dog named Sparkle Bear, a border collie chocolate lab mix. You can often find them outside, enjoying nature.
