Biography
Melissa Keene-Berg is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist, Certified Massage Therapist, Energy Medicine Practitioner and Birth Doula. She has a passion for helping people live a spiritually-connected, emotionally-balanced and physically thriving life. Melissa has helped thousands of patients with a variety of acute or chronic health concerns, ranging from painful conditions such as arthritis, sports injuries, to anxiety, PTSD, addictions, digestive disorders, fertility challenges, pregnancy and postpartum support, hormonal imbalances, menopause, autoimmune disorders, cancer treatment support and palliative care.
Melissa has had the opportunity to work at several high profile clinics in the San Francisco bay area including San Francisco Community Acupuncture, and East West Integrative Medicine Clinic. She has volunteered at the Haight Ashbury Free Medical Clinic, San Francisco General Hospital and California Pacific Medical Clinic in the Stroke and Rehabilitation Center.
Melissa’s goal is to help the individual take charge of their own health, encouraging them not to accept their ailments as “normal”, and so aims to optimize their most basic experiences — and to thrive! She brings to each treatment the gifts of insight and compassion, and strengthens the innate healing power within each of us.
In her free time, Melissa loves to travel, and can often be found swimming in warm bodies of water, camping with her family, and relaxing at home with her cat and two dogs.
