Biography

Jaymi graduated from Bend Senior High school and grew up on the East side of Bend when Reed Market was fields and the Parkway didn’t exist. As a Bend native, she returned to this booming community to take care of the place that raised her. Through Acupuncture, Chinese Herbalism, Nutrition, and Shiatsu, she is here to help individuals elevate their health and invest in themselves to be their best selves.

After years of cooking in fine dining kitchens and running niche produce departments in San Francisco, CA, Jaymi decided to embark on a more permanent role in health care.  In 2015, Jaymi moved back to Bend and began the Function Nutritional Therapy program receiving her Functional Nutritional certification from the Nutritional Therapy Association in 2017.  That same year she moved to Portland, Oregon to begin her life- changing journey at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine studying Acupuncture, Shiatsu, Chinese Herbalism, and Qigong.  It was there that she learned how to embody the ancient Chinese teachings of living with nature, conserving the essence of life, and that Chinese Medicine isn’t just using acupuncture to treat pain, but instead is a vast incredible system that can treat almost anything.

In Jaymi’s spare time she can be found reading, knitting, crocheting, and spending time with her fiber community, family, and sheepadoodle, Petunia.
